Nick-named "Thumbs" for the presidential backrubs she gave Clinton during staff meetings, Dickey was alleged to be a lover of the president in the Paula Jones case. The former White House Director of Special Projects and Special Needs, Mrs. Dickey (now a 50-year-old divorcee) handled finances for Clinton's presidential campaign in 1992, and accompanied him to Washington after his inauguration. Her daughter, Helen Dickey, was Chelsea Clinton's nanny and lived on the third floor of the residence at the White House...

Result: According to the "London Telegraph," Dickey was appointed chief of the protocol office at the Defense Department last November, days after her alleged affair with Bill Clinton was raised in a deposition in the Paula Jones case (that's the problem at the White House -- all the exposed Dickeys).

UPDATE: The Paula Jones legal team was unable to get inside the Pentagon to serve her with a subpoena, because no-one had a security pass for the building. They tried to find a home address but there was no listing for Ms. Dickey in the Washington area. She went on a leave of absence when investigators tried to contact her last November, then was sent to London and Brussels on Pentagon business. Lacking the money for yet another surveillance operation, the Paula Jones team cut their losses, and Ms. Dickey was never served with a subpoena. She said that published reports of an affair with Mr Clinton are "recklessly false and malicious."
