Max spent much of his time on the set calling his wife on the cell phone (she was about to have his baby) and in his trailer watching Bowery Boys movies. Two miraculous things happened out of this:
A) Max became a father for the first time.
These are two miracles that will only happen once in a lifetime.
Max has appeared in the films "Gummo," "Feeling Minnesota," "Beautiful Girls," "Maverick," "Born Yesterday," "Cliffhanger," "The Butcher's Wife," and "Drugstore Cowboy."
He has also appeared on the TV shows "Fantasy Island," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Homicide: Life on the Street" (playing "J.H. Brody" for one season), "L.A. Law," and "21 Jump Street."
B) At Max's urging, several of us actually sat through "The East Side Kids Meet Bela Lugosi".
